For therapists

Therapist dashboard

The therapist dashboard is a workspace overview for signed-in therapists who are reviewing linked clients and recent shared activity.

Quick overview

Understand the therapist dashboard, what it summarises, and why shared content remains client-controlled while private client cards stay outside therapist views.

What you’ll see

The therapist dashboard summarises linked-client activity without showing private client cards.
Recent activity highlights client-shared preparation while keeping private content outside the therapist view.

What the dashboard summarises

  • Linked clients who are available to the signed-in therapist.
  • Recent shared activity that belongs in the therapist workspace.
  • Workspace shortcuts for opening client areas or shared client content when available.

What stays outside the dashboard

  • Private client cards do not appear in therapist dashboard summaries.
  • Unshared or archived content should not be treated as missing from the client’s story.
  • Shared cards and shared session prep are useful preparation context, not a final or complete narrative.

Safety and professional context

  • StephX does not monitor clients or automatically alert therapists in emergencies.
  • Therapists remain responsible for their own professional judgement, mandated reporting requirements where applicable, and emergency or crisis protocols outside StephX.
  • Use shared activity as client-owned context to discuss with consent in therapy, not as a replacement for clinical documentation or direct communication.
