Sharing and therapist access
Therapist notes and client visibility
Therapist notes are therapist-authored workspace notes with their own visibility rules.
Quick overview
Therapists may add notes in their workspace. Notes are private to the therapist by default unless explicitly marked visible to the client, and they stay separate from client-owned card content.
What you’ll see
How this works
- A therapist may add a note while reviewing shared client material.
- A note stays private to the therapist unless it is explicitly marked visible to the client.
- Client-visible notes are shown only when that visibility has been set.
- The app should clearly separate client-owned content from therapist-authored notes.
What stays separate
- Client card content remains owned and controlled by the client.
- Therapist notes do not edit, overwrite, or reinterpret the client’s card text.
- Changing note visibility does not change the sharing status of the underlying card.
Privacy note
If a note visibility setting looks different than expected, pause before adding more sensitive information and ask the therapist connected to the workspace to clarify.
