Sharing and therapist access

Sharing and unsharing cards

Sharing is a permission-based visibility choice controlled by the client.

Quick overview

New cards are private by default. Sharing lets the therapist view a card in their workspace, while unsharing removes it from normal therapist shared-card views without sending alerts or messages.

What you’ll see

Sharing and unsharing stay client-controlled from the card view.

How sharing works

  • Choose to share a story card or healing card when it feels useful for therapy preparation.
  • The therapist can view shared cards through the therapist workspace connected to the client.
  • Sharing does not automatically message the therapist or send an emergency alert.
  • Archived shared cards are removed from the therapist’s normal shared-card workspace.

How unsharing works

  • Unsharing changes the card back out of normal shared-card views.
  • If the therapist already saw previously shared content, unsharing cannot erase what they may remember or have discussed.
  • After unsharing, check the card visibility label if you are unsure what is currently shared.

What you stay in control of

  • Which cards are shared.
  • Whether a card is unshared later.
  • Whether a card is archived for pacing or organisation.
  • Whether a topic is brought into session in detail, summary form, or not yet.
